Through our on-site Construction Project Manager, at Tyndall AFB, ProSource maintains overall management and execution of complex projects and day to day project – oriented work efforts in order to satisfy customer expectations for deliverable and supporting documentation. Our responsibilities of this dynamic role includes large project leadership, team interface, and good communication. Our inspector interfaces with a multi-discipline multi-cultural team and applies planning experience in developing construction documents and construction administration with the government customer.
One example of our efforts is at Tyndall AFB, FL’s Base Operations. ProSource is providing Title II Inspector services in support of our Mentor and Strategic Partner, HDR Inc. Our Title II inspector is responsible for complete engineering design and construction for the repairing, by slip lining the 1950s mains, manholes, and service laterals, on the Sanitary Sewer System at Tyndall AFB. The project is getting underway with the cleaning and inspection of 127,700 Linear Feet of the Sanitary Sewer System by closed circuit television. Supporting the mission of our nation’s war-fighters includes taking good care of our base infrastructure, and we are extremely proud to serve our warriors. Tyndall AFB was opened in 1941, much of the sanitary sewer remains unchanged since its installation in the 1950’s and acts as the primary system for the bases 3,000+ residents. The contributions of our Mentor-Protégé relationship with HDR Inc. is improving the quality of life at Tyndall AFB. This project is just another example of our Mentor, HDR-EOC’s, commitment to excellence and small businesses like our own, to build and deliver an ever expanding resume of Title II projects. We monitor action plans to rectify potential construction cost overruns or delays, accommodate significant changes to the scope of work, and we manage and provide functional oversight of the contract for our government customer.
ProSource maintains records and compile statistical reports concerning Contractor personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates, interprets contractor labor contracts, facilitate change in organization to help transition all levels, forecast future Contractor staffing and organizational needs. Our inspectors provide oversight and the daily activities in the execution of $300M in design/build construction projects on military installations throughout Tyndall AFB.
Additionally, we maintain government compliance (FAR/UCI) for all project folders (i.e. progress status on for all projects. Maintains Request for Information [RFI] log, develops Statements of Work [SOWs] based on concern criteria, design and construction documentation, post-awards/pre-construction documentation, for all contractor and subcontractor design installation drawings, modified drawings, project inspections, QC reports, pre-inspection and final project inspection, as well as warranty and all project close-out documents) turn-key projects
We generate proposals and specifications to be submitted to client/customers that encompass master planning, zoning, licensing and permitting. Develop project scope criteria requirements for both large and small projects and to include interface. We keep the Director of Contract Compliance timely informed on problems, progress, and results of audits and data requests.
Mr. Huey Moore is the ProSource/HDR Title II Inspector and is responsible for daily Construction Inspection services during the execution of the project.
